Eating out has never been easier for vegetarians and vegans as the number of restaurants catering to us continues to grow. The Vegman App helps you find vegetarian and vegan, as well as VEG-friendly restaurants - and wherever you are in the world, it tells you how to get to them.

The Vegman App is a companion app for the community based website www.vegman.org. Please note: Vegman is a work in progress. There are many vegan, vegetarian and, VEG-friendly restaurants in the world and we need your help to identify them. Via our website you can upload images, write reviews, rate restaurants you have visited and flag wrong content, so the community can profit from your experiences as you will profit from content submitted by others. This content will also be accessible in the Vegman App and in a upcoming version we will implement the function to submit data directly from the app.
We want to thank our worldwide community for helping us build Vegman. Your participation leads to a better world, and the animals and environment thank you for it!

I wish this actually worked. I live in Portland, OR & the app kept telling me the closest vegetarian restaurant was in Seattle, WA...3 hours away. C'mon...really? *sigh* DELETED!

Working now! Thanks for this app...needs a more complete database but pretty good. Now if it only had "veg-friendly" restaurants listed as well...

Okay for a free app that's still a WIP. Wish distance was shown in miles. Wish there was a display for cost, so you'd have an idea how expensive the restaurant is.

The concept is good but I think you will get higher ratings if you add the following: - A km/miles toggle button. - Option to add Veg Friendly Restaurants. This would be helpful when going out with friends to choose something we all enjoy. Plus Las Vegas has hardly any Vegetarian restaurants but A LOT of Veg Friendly Places. (you could make this color red) This would make your database MUCH larger and more useful. If you do add this option, I will personally send you information for 10 veg friendly places here in Las Vegas. Currently you only have 3 listings. - Add prices -$10, -$15, -$20 this is not as important but a good idea I gave 3 stars because it's free, user friendly and has an option to suggest restaurants. I will Review again after any changes. ^_^

Would be fantastic, (and I'd love to suggest a few places) but it keeps crashing on me... I'll keep it, because I'd love to have a good, free veg restaurant app, but I'd like to see the crashing issue fixed, and- like an earlier reviewer suggested- I'd like to see a 'veg friendly' option added. I don't need the whole restaurant to be vegetarian- I'd just like to know that I can eat something other than french fries.
