Errors and Not Very User Friendly

I just downloaded this today after seeing it on VegNews. It’s not very user friendly. Photos should be able to upload multiple at one time instead of going back to camera roll every time. In addition, I keep getting “unable to connect to server” errors in every part of the app. My internet works fine so this seems like not an issue on my end. Also, instructions on how to see likes are not very clear and how to use the coins. I’m really glad to see a dating app like this but there are a lot of kinks that need to be worked out. Seeing likes should be free otherwise it’s useless. Not everyone can afford in-app purchases. I also just bought a 1 month subscription and can’t see likes yet... And I don’t like that the home page keeps automatically updating and changing my preference of distance to online. It’s really annoying while I’m trying to scroll through and see who is nearby.

Spent an hour just trying to upload my pictures and it kept freezing... the save button wouldn’t even work and all of my pictures I’d uploaded were erased several times. Then I refreshed the app and my whole account, all of it, was erased even though I’d created it weeks earlier. Very disappointing considering how excited I was about a dating app for vegans.

It was exhausting asking countless people on other apps like Tinder, CMB, and Hinge if they are vegan. With Veggly, I don’t have to do all of that work! The world is better when you date people aligned with your values ? I highly recommend the app!

Overall, the app is easy to use and thoughtfully layout buttons are easily figured out what to do for the next steps. I really like that I can find so many vegans in my neighborhood and I got some Veg-Matches already in first week which is a good sign. I recommend this app for my fellow vegans/vegetarians includes aspiring veg people.

The app is really good and I’m so happy that we finally have a good app for vegans, vegetarians and people who are getting there! It would be nice if they had some kind of verification like Bumble and other upgrades like being able to search for matches in traveling mode but I highly recommend it as is!

This rules. Doesn’t feel as smooth and user friendly as hinge and tinder yet but you can tell it’s on the way! Sure, a lot of the people are 200+ mi away, but for those few within your radius it’s very cool to connect with other vegans.
