Wish I could get 12 free back issues

According to the website, when you download the app, you will get 12 free prior issues. I purchased a yearly subscription, received the most recent issue, but none of the prior ones. I have emailed twice and used the Contact Us form via the website and received NO response. Very unhappy about the past issues and the lack of communication from the magazine to get this resolved.

Love your magazine. Can you include more average people living the vegan life rather than so many stars and wealthy people. More recipes needed that we can afford to make. Do no harm.

Great articles, super recipes, info I cannot find anywhere else. When I read it, I think happily to myself, 'This is my tribe.'

I will change this review after someone from the magazine gets back to me. Where is the easy way to unsubscribe? Find it before you sign up for the free issue. My credit card was charged for an annual subscription because I cannot figure out how to stop the subscription and my emails are being ignored.

First: one magazine, or at the very least, one half of one magazine, should be free to try out to see if I even like it before I choose to buy ("browse before I buy" like I could in a store). Second: even with #1 above, I was STILL willing to try this out with a one-time purchase, but I couldn't--it kept saying "can't log into the iTunes Store"--which, given the fact that I'm clearly here, writing a scathing review, I CAN log into the iTunes Store, so, I can deduce that the app simply doesn't work and it's them, not me. Third: I can't zoom into the magazine covers to decide which one I wanted to choose from in the first place because the writing is way too small to read otherwise (and I have 20/20 vision). So, I don't get a free magazine (or 1/2 a magazine) to try out, but that doesn't even matter because it won't let me download anyway. And even if it did, I'd have to choose based upon the way the cover looks as opposed to what articles are inside. Yah, that's definitely worth downloading! Look, I'm not a total idiot--I expected to pay for a magazine subscription when I downloaded the app. But, not providing one magazine for free, and then acting glitchy from there (even after restarting my phone) leaves me feeling that the app itself is simply crap and not worth downloading. Update the app, and I'll update my review, but, as it stands, I'm a bit confused as to why so many people are raving about it. I'm assuming it's the developers though because this app is sheer junk. Don't waste the space on your device.
