I was in Jr High when Vectrex came out and I wanted one so bad. Only ever got to see Armor Attack for 5 minutes at a school friend's house before he had enough and it we were out the door. This app is a pure joy. I feel like the richest kid on the block in 1982. The library is amazing. [kudos to the reviewers with an even deeper knowledge of what remains to be emulated but this is a very deep collection.] I've played all the cartridges just to check them out and they all run well and load fast on my 6+. The signature vector look, remembered from the arcade machines, is well emulated. Sound's good. I don't have a game pad and that is a definite drawback but no fault of the app. I was particularly delighted by the Scramble port. The included games could be hours of fun. The indie titles are fun too. Special mention to the card game Vector 21. Also, I never played Flappy Bird -or whatever it was called- before the Dev pulled it, but couldn't escape its legendary impact on the gaming landscape. Thanks for letting me give it a try with Veccy Bird! This is a project worth supporting. Get in there and have some fun.

The only video game system I ever owned as a kid was Vectrex, but no one I talk to has ever heard of it. So I was impressed and pleasantly surprised to see that someone took the time to put this together. My only complaint is that one of my favorite games, Clean Sweep, is absent. Other than that, kudos to the developer.

This has so many games and recreates the Vectrex experience very well. You can tell a lot of effort was put into making the main menu area. I haven't played all the games, but the concept of how to present this game collection is very well done.

Emulation seems good but none of the scoreboard or achievement screens ever do anything on my iPad or iPhone.

Seriously though, the folks over at Rantmedia Games did an awesome job put this compilation app out for the IOS devices, also the fact it's free. ? This seriously makes me want to get most of those games that I don't have for the Vectrex yet. Although I have to say that there's some flaws with this app, such as if you tap on one of the game boxes twice quickly, you can't view the game box anymore unless you reset the app. Also there's some slowdowns (specially in Berzerk, although I've never experienced the vectrex version of Berzerk, but I doubt it is that slow when played on the real thing) and lagging (which can mess up your gameplay ?). And the voices for Spike are missing. Despite these flaws, I still highly recommend this app if you're into old school video games, I also recommend using the iCade controller for arcade experience (although I don't know about the driving games such as Pole Position or Hyper Chase). I hope in the future that Rantmeda Games will fix these flaws/bugs and put in more games like Clean Sweep and Spinball. ?

I like this app but mapping for 8bitdo controllers is terrible. It needs to allow remapping on those controllers or fix default. It defaults to having select and start mapped to the numbers and shoulder buttons. Face buttons don't get mapped.

Having a Vectrex in my collection, I can vouch that this is supremely accurate. My only wish is they included Crazy Coaster.

Crashing on iPad mini?!

Yes, there is definitely a problem here, the app seems to crash every time I open it. Please help!!! It only crashes after any 3D movement around the vectrex setup room, which looks great when it's not ending up on the home screen. but even then, if I can select a game, it crashes upon starting emulation. Please fix this or assist me in fixing. I'm using an iPad mini 9.3.5 and it cannot update anymore.

I love this game! It has such a faithful recreation of the vectex controls and system, not to mention almost all the games. However it is missing clean sweep and that that is an extremely popular game, so developers please work on that.
