This is a very frustrating site. Many bugs. Cameras that I need most Non-functioning. At this point, I would rate the site a waste of state money.

We were caught in big back-up on 66 near Rt 29. Traffic in both directions stopped. VDOT did not know about it - "no adverse road conditions"
Construction not in the App

The construction for 58 right in front of Hampton Roads Executive Airport has been constant all weekend and it's not on the map for the app or on the 511 phone listing.

If you want access to NoVA traffic cameras this is the best app.
Not helpful
Irritated and late for work
I used this app because I live in Portsmouth and work in Norfolk. App says 6 minutes to get from where I was through the tunnel to my destination. I have been sitting at the tunnel for over 30 minutes... App has yet to update to show the traffic issue.

Won't let you view the whole state

When using the map, everytime I move it around to see traffic conditions throughout the state, it bounces back to my current location. Fix that and I'll give it 5 stars.
Confusing and difficult to use

Spend a few mins trying to use this app and you will understand why many people complain about government waste and incompetence. It's as if the people who designed this app have never used a smartphone before.
Makes driving in Northern Virginia bearable!

Love this app And VDOT511 in general! By keeping an eye on my drive ahead of time, I can gauge my drive-time to and from the office! Wish my coworkers would!!?
