Scam?

Tim de Bear

I let it play without me singing along and it still got 3 stars...is this *really* helping me?

Good but neeeds improvement

bbdkdos

Good app but would be better with guided instructions and more text. Also would be better if I could connect and the app to my songs on my Apple Music playlist. And the karaoke part would be better if it just played the songs through and had the lyrics . Really hoping the creators improve this app because it is already that best vocal app out there . Just could be better.

Ear training helper

I’ve taken some time away from the microphone so this app comes in handy in getting myself back my confidence in hearing my improvement.

Love it! It’s duolingo but for singing!

Vietpdx

Obviously this app isn’t going to replace actual singing lessons much like taking duolingo isn’t going to replace Spanish class or actually going to Spain. But what it does do is help you focus on your fundamentals, scales, and your head/chest voice. Use it to help you stay in key when you karaoke, or when you need to fix any mechanical issues with your pitch. It’s set up in a way where you can just play 3 exercises for just 5 minutes a day. Keeping this up will get you more bang for your buck once you actually do start plunking down cash for singing lessons. You want to pay a teacher 75 bucks/hour to go over the basic pitches and stuff— you want to get to the meatier fun stuff! Vanido will help you get to the meatier, fun stuff faster.

I like it

GC.GG

This is great app for practicing your pitch and moving through your range. Since it hasn’t done anything to teach me about tone quality yet, I don’t know how I feel about giving it a full 5 stars

Really good.

I just wish it explained more about when to switch from chest voice into head voice, since I can belt many of the same notes I can sing in head voice.

This shocked me a lot

Same ol stuff

I wasn't sure about this app after reading some of the reviews. But anyway I just did the first exercise with "la la la".. I played it back and was shocked that I was on key a lot.. I'm going keep doing the first exercise til I master it.. but for now 5 stars til I encounter any problem!

Like the idea, but...

I’m with some of the others. I know this isn’t karaoke, but lyrics to the songs would’ve been helpful. When learning to improve singing, it helps to know the words you actually have to sing, instead of having to rely on memory for a section of be song.

Too much fun
