I just got this today- connected to the app on my iPhone and connected to Bluetooth. I didn’t know it required an app or Bluetooth so I’m not a huge fan of that. BUT! So far the device is working and pretty cool! I can speak into it and translate into different languages! I can type and translate! I can take a photograph of text and translate! I like that when you speak into it- the text appears on the app- ensuring that the microphone and app picked up on what you said correctly. The app seems a little glitchy to be honest- but for the most part I think this product is really cool for studying language!
Do not buy this product

It does not work very well and it cannot understand simple words. You need to repeat too many times before this device knows what you said. But mostly it just beeps when it can’t translate your words. A waste of money!

I don’t know how so many people are having problems- I paired and got it to work with my iPhone just fine. The app definitely works, and the translator definitely works. It was very easy and I had no difficulties. However, the ad specifically said no internet connection was needed- but the translator literally will not work if the iPhone has no data connection. So that means this product is literally no better than Google Translate, which just works directly on your phone, making this product obsolete.
