I love using UStream and watching live feed of misc things but a lot of the feeds keep going out ...even life feeds go out after watching just a few seconds and occurs quite often.

This app has slid. It inspired me to start a podcast but now I can't get it to broadcast mobile. I'm about to delete it. /////:/ This is mainly a review of the app, but also includes Ustream as a whole. The app, when broadcasting live from my iPhone, is actually as consistent and as good as anything you will find anywhere. Even if you're in a low bandwidth situation with your cellular broadcast, it still will broadcast even though the video quality will be degraded. The app seems to have gotten better over the years, I first used it when the iPhone 3GS came out. Was very impressed then. I wish now though, with the iPhone 5 on LTE (the very high-speed cell network), that one would be allowed to use high-quality Broadcasting. The fact that you still have to use Wi-Fi (which oftentimes is slower than LTE) is something I hope is changed in future versions. My one frustration whether using this app with an iPad or the iPhone, is that shows that I know for sure are being broadcast show up as unsearchable or not live. The search feature seems to not pick up some shows sometimes also that I know are on. I wish the ads were a little less intrusive, so that content is not missed when being broadcast live on a full screen ad. I'm not sure exactly how to solve this except for maybe do I have screen ad, or a smaller pop-up one. Or, perhaps allow pausing of the real-time live video in order to watch the commercial so you don't miss something. As a broadcaster, inevitably one of my viewers or many of them will have an ad come up during an interview or a punchline of a joke. My final complaint is that I wish the chat room would be fixed. Whether it is on the iOS or online version, the chat room does not auto refresh often as users come and go, doesn't seem to always accurately show who is in your chat room, and doesn't appear to allow one to uncensor your adult broadcast so you can curse or say any word you want. Please keep up the good work, and you keep making the app better. Justin.tv has nothing on this.

I'm addicted to my "favorites" and watch several times a day. Sure there are occasional hiccups in transmission from a couple channels, but overall this is a dependable and superb app!!
