Customer Service Nonexistant

I’ve been a sitter on this app for years and have completed 42 jobs. It seems as of late last year, customer service is completely nonexistant. If a sitter has a emergency (not 911 related), we’re told to call or email sitter support. The calls go automatically to voicemail and the emails go unanswered. I actually had a horrific babysitting job last month and Usit is silent. No callback, or responses to my numerous emails. We are in the business of taking care of small humans. If there’s an emergency or problem pertaining to someone’s child, there should be a way we can contact the app we’re charged fees to use.

I booked a sitter for my kids on the first day of a new job. The sitter never showed up. It was a Compleate and total nightmare. Do not use this app as it can not be depended on.

I was a normal sitter with usit for year's until recently when I booked a job in advance, and was diagnosed with covid. I attempted cancel the job but up until recently usits software was highly outdated and it never happened. I was suspended permanently despite calling multiple times and attempting to notify them of my diagnosis. If I would've shows up to the job anyway I would've been irresponsible however I was still suspended

I highly recommend Usit for both families and sitters. The Usit community of families and sitters in the Atlanta area are wonderful and supportive. I’ve be working with Usit as a sitter for over a year and I’ve never experienced a work opportunity I didn’t absolutely love. The app is great, it’s well organized, easy to use and the best service for finding babysitting gigs. It’s such a good resource for students who love working with children and looking for a flexible part time job. The staff is amazing, they’re very kind and easy to reach out to for assistance. I’m very grateful for the opportunity and positive experience I had working with the Usit, it’s truly a wonderful community. Great company, I highly recommend!!!
Room for improvement

This is a great app in theory. However it is a long way from being the beta it could be. Virtually no customer support. They do not advocate for sitters, I've heard parents complain about how much they are charged. Ive met some Amazing families from this app but the lack of any kind of real support deters me from using it.
Customer service needs improvement

Seems like a great service, but have been unable to use it myself since downloading the app a month ago due to technical difficulties getting a background check. Was never able to get in contact with customer service through phone only through email but have yet to receive a solution; would recommend improving phone customer service for users in need of a quick response.

I work about 15 hours a week through Usit on my schedule. The parents have been great and the paypal feature means I get a chance at tips, and I don’t have to awkwardly count the money in front of the parents.

Beware of this app
CPR loves CP
Do not use this app. I posted looking for a babysitter but never connected with any of my applicants, and suddenly someone SHOWED UP at my house and I had no idea who they were or how they got my address. This app SHOWS your address to any potential applicant. Scary to say the least. I never spoke to a single person about coming to my house. Huge invasion of privacy.
