Mode 2: STUDY WORKS
Choose one of the 36 works of 19th-century American literature and study all of its clues, ranked from hardest (30) to easiest (1). Use the hyperlinks to get extra information on each work--and to read them all.
Mode 3: USE FLASH CARDS
Select a flash card set, ranked from hardest (30) to easiest (1). Play the game, using only your chosen set of flash cards. Correct answers climb the Fact Mountain of 19th-century American literature!
For most efficient study, we recommend using Mode 3, beginning with flash card set 1. After winning twice, move to flash card set 2, etc. Upon reaching flash card set 5, begin using Mode 1. Use Mode 2 as desired.
