The application uses Tradier as the backend system to pull real time market data of any company, its price, options & various values. The application uses a customized algorithm to calculate the options value & profit/loss potential in combination with Tradiers company stock prices, options expiry, values & implied volatility. Moreover, the estimations are based on implied volatility, which is calculated from the current price of the selected options and the current price of the underlying stock or ETF.
