"you're just hangin' out, chillin', relaxin' ... the solar system is yours in this video game" - Touch Arcade
"There is a certain exhilaration in swooping down from orbit, rebounding off a planet, and flying upward again, travelling off to the distant stars." - 148Apps
"All in all, if you enjoy motion based flying games, you won’t want to miss Unknown Orbit, which has a gorgeous space theme, an entrancing soundtrack, and challenging but rewarding gameplay." - AppAdvice
Use the planet’s hills and valleys to launch yourself into deep space and hurtle through sparkling firefly clouds to reach the orbiting moons and beyond.
Space out and enter a state of flow with an entrancing vibe and soundtrack by Rhys Lindsay. Perfect the smoothest landings and highest jumps, and glide across a strange orbital landscape.
Two nearby stars are melting away your comet's icy core, so you must absorb snow balls that are scattered around the environment to prolong your life.
String together moves to gain an ever increasing and limitless point combo, then compete with your friends on the Game Center Leaderboard.
Needs more variety. With additional asteroids and such in the solar system, you could spend a good deal of time cruising around collecting ice!
This game is awesome! Very relaxing and fun to play. Great graphics and soundtrack too.
This is an excellent game that provides a great spin on the Tiny Wings concept. Try to launch yourself really high in the air - it really is a sublime moment. I can really imagine myself flying when I launch into orbit hearing nothing but the wind blowing by. Highly recommended game.
The music is low-key almost ambient but perfectly suited. The physics are loose but not 100% predictable which just adds to the fun. The sense of space when you get going is extremely satisfying. I hope that "space" gets larger as they progress because this would be one of my all time favorite games if you could see worlds in the distance that you could eventually gain enough momentum to reach. And having a few populated and destroying them by bouncing along wouldn't be unwelcome. Overall if you like quiet almost zen-like games with minimal controls, music and no sense of pressure check this game out. It's my goto zone-out game now.
I didn't like it. After reading about it I was hoping for a 3D Kometen but that was not the case. The game has potential but the controls killed any chance I had of giving it the benefit of the doubt.
This is a game where you roll a ball on a planet, using terrible touch controls, while the game tells you to touch/release several times per second. The developer needs to look up the word "orbit" in the dictionary. Rolling on the ground does not constitute orbiting in any way.
It's amazing and very relaxing and it would be cool if you could add and endless mode or a non melt option in the game :{)
The simple fact that I am here reviewing it says something as I never review apps. This game is pure fun and exploration! It was only 1 dollar which is a very small price to pay for an app this fun!! All I can say is GET IT you won't regret it!!!! The only complaint I have is that when your not connected to wifi it lags, a lot. That and I wish there were more objectives and a lot more planets. Like if there were many planets in the distance, even some that are similar to the starting planet and if you got a lot of momentum you could hop from planet to planet. If you added these things this game would be truly legendary.
The game is fun but could use naturally spawning ice, more planets and more goals
Beautiful gameplay, simple objective, very addictive!!!! It's like a 3D tiny wings, touch to go down, release to go up, tilt to move around. All bad ratings are the people who only played this game once (after the fist time the instructions go away and you get the hang of the controls)
