Was trying this on other devices that i have and it work like a charm - just this particular model won't work - not sure why. Maybe gotta re-work? Else it's a 5 star app for me.

I purchased the smartphone remote control that is supposed to work with this and when I try to install it, everything is in Chinese and I can’t do a thing. This is useless... what a waste of money
DIY mode does not work

Can’t control my Pace STB. So I went into learning mode and it says driver does not support learning. Why have DIY mode and no driver support. Stupid.
