Boring...repetitive reruns

Militarymama424

Since the switch to universal, this app and its channel have been very repetitive and quite boring. This was probably the only channel that catered to such a young crowd. Why bring ANOTHER preteen channel to the table? There already Disney channels and Nickelodeon channels devoted to the preteen crowd. This whole new universal thing does not add to competition and is very bland and unoriginal. There's nothing special about this app anymore and nothing special about the new channel change. It is horrible. My daughter is prek and now there really isn't anything she can watch at night or on the weekends. Re-airing the same old tired Caillou doesn't cater to her group. We miss Clangers, Pajaminals, The Chika Show, Ruff Ruff, Tweet, and Dave...what have you sold out too?? This is an awful business move and does nothing for your audiences.

10/23/17 UPDATE: No Longer Geared Towards the Pre-K set

Wigglemom3

I have to say, as a mom of a preschooler and a toddler, I'm really disappointed in not only the lineup changes on your channel but the removal of most of the shows many kids have come to love such as Floogals, Pajanamals, Berenstain Bears, Dot, Nina and especially the Goodnight Show. Nick brought back Noggin via app for kids to enjoy. Maybe re-adding those favorites I mentioned plus some "oldies" like the Chica Show, The Sharing Show, LazyTown and even vintage Wiggles would be nice. Also, the shows geared toward older youth is REALLY not appropriate for young kids to watch. The addition of a restriction switch would be a VERY welcomed feature, especially if you are adamant that the younger set no longer seems to be your desired demographic. Update: Your app is getting better and my kids truly appreciate the show additions and changes and we hope to see more of our favorite shows and episodes added. I do have a few suggestions as a parent. 1) I would really like to see the addition of a show "lockout" option. Though I appreciate the age categories, it is still too easy for younger viewers to access older children's programming that may have subject matter that may be deemed inappropriate. A "lockout" or passcode option would be really helpful. 2) Masha & Bear and Jungle Bunch are probably best re-placed in the 2-5 age category. I would assume if older kids like watching them that they would be able to access them. In summation, I'd like to thank the app creators for taking parental suggestions into consideration as they "fine tune" their transition. I do hope there will be a reintroduction of a Sprout channel back on TV. Until then, I look forward to seeing if my suggestions and the suggestions of others are taken into consideration. I hope other parents and caretakers take time to do the same. ?

Can’t watch episodes

Rungirl1970

I was so excited to hear that universal kids was going to be airing Top Chef Jr and couldn’t wait to download the app. To my dismay, only clips are available to view! The app even reads that 3 episodes are available, but only clips are there. Deleted app and found episodes on YouTube.
