The app works well. I would have given it 5* but I feel like it is missing some obvious features. The biggest thing missing is the ability to immediately broadcast a recording. You can do a live broadcast but if you have a message recorded you have to create a scheduled event for it to play. Let's say there is a fire or active shooter on campus and I want to play the alert message I've recorded. I have to go to the schedule tab, schedule it, then wait for it to play. Which means I loose at least a minute or 2 waiting for the recording to go off. Or I have to do a live broadcast defeating the purpose of having a recording. You can't set a recording to repeat multiple times. For instance you might want your fire drill message to repeat 5 times then stop or loop until it's manually stopped. If at least the fist feature was added I would change my rating to 5*

It’s got all the necessities but it needs some Updates. It feels a little slow. Seems like there are weird errors quite a bit. Cmon guys we need some updates here.

Android app has more features. Need to be able to download files to play on system a lot of the features not work. I love the concept And we spent a lot of money adding this to our school but haven’t been able to use it properly

I used the app for about a year for a school and it was constantly buggy. Then Ubiquiti added SIP support to the EDU software and that was a game changer. I don’t use the app anymore, I have everything running through my VoIP pbx (with 2 way audio, by the way!)

It's sad to see when a company create a great unit and fit it with a crappy software . To take advantage of the unit as intended software should be less buggy. Not bug free but less buggy. This app has literally an issue with each tab. 1- I have 30 unit 12 are disconnected we had to readopt them to make them work . Then they disconnect every once a while. 2- you cannot add pre recorded audio through the app. You have to record use the app online . What is this 2008? 3- no user management : we are using this at a school district. Different people have permission to use different areas. 4- we never got the speak now to work. 5- finally instead of fixing the issues ubiquiti decided it's easier to just discontinue the product and end the support to the product. Terrible move from a company should be designed on high reliability. EOL POLICY FOR THIS PRODUCT IS A HUGE LET DOWN ??????

Nice concept..but simply does not work consistently if at all at times... freezes and or stalls out. Needs lots updates to improve reliability.
