Does exactly what it says

knrg

Works great, no complaints. Does what it's supposed to do. I find the best way to use it is to put in a few of your own tasks and alternate them with the random tasks. Helps me get things done I've been avoiding. Don't want to clean the bathroom? Clean the mirror, then radon task has me fold laundry, then back to the bathroom for the countertop to organize. Oh, I'm sick of cleaning the bathroom again, random generator says to dust my fans. Ok now what did I say needs to be done in the bathroom? Oh yeah the tub scrubbing. This method keeps me from hating the whole process.

Great for those who need structure!

I have always struggled with finding a cleaning schedule/routine/app that worked for me. Everything else I have tried has been overwhelming and too time consuming for someone who works full-time and may have a little ADD. Most cleaning apps just give you a huge list of things you should be doing and make you feel guilty if you get behind, which just adds to my anxiety and makes me procrastinate more. Pair this app with the accompanying book if you are looking for more context. This is a great tool for anyone whose anxiety/depression interferes with productivity at home.

I want to love it

I want to love it, but its lack of ability to edit “Dailies” and time to work/relax disappoints me. It is very helpful to see a “Before” photo, as one might not truly see the mess that surrounds one. Please add an edit function to timers and daily/monthly functions, and also to the “recurring” button (how often?) and it might just be perfect!

I’m getting steady results but app needs work

The good: This (along with the book) have been a great help for the adhd household. In general the house is tidier. Even after a few days where we were too busy to do basic maintenance, we recover much faster. Two key features: I would like the ability to reset a checklist even if I didn’t complete the previous day. It would also be nice to edit the various checklists. There is a write-in feature, but they don’t go on the ‘official’ checklist. I don’t have a cat, I would like remove the item permanently. In addition to daily ‘wash all dishes’, I want to add ‘unload dishwasher’ For me personally, rather than a weekly ‘wash/put away all laundry’ I would prefer to check off daily ‘wash/put away one load’. I get that it’s free, but I would pay a little for an upgrade option if there was a goal of making sure a bare-bones was accessible to everyone.

Not what it promises

No way to edit already entered tasks.

Stupid app

Tabbyblu

This is so dumb. It’s the same app, for years and years. The author never changes it or makes it better; it’s just boring. Stupidest money I’ve ever spent. Which is also how I feel about her Facebook page. Same people, same messes, groaning about the same things. Not worth .99

Obsolete?

Auldbat

Is this app being maintained/moderated anymore? It is constantly crashing, items in the to do list don’t go away when checked, deleted, or the timer runs out, etc. Where am I going to find an app that speaks my language???

Love

Love this app I just wish you could edit what is in the daily checklist

Sadly disappointing

Coop.bloop

I love UFYH, but this app just didn’t live up to expectations. Other folks have listed in detail the issues with editing the to-do list, I also found that the tuner was weird to set, and exploring the app while the timer was going seemed to turn it off. If it improves I’ll gladly download it again, but for now I am deleting it.

great app! i’ve just started but I can already tell its what I’ve been looking for

One thing I think could make it better is being able to connect tasks. For instance I work better when I break things down into very small categories, so for instance instead of simply taking out the trash I would do “gather trash from living room, gather trash from bedroom, put trash in bin, take trash to dumpster” and I think it would help me as well as other people who have to break things down into very simple task a lot by being able to connect certain tasks and put them in a certain order.
