RC-STYLE DRIVING
Remote control enthusiasts, rejoice! Ultimate Lightning McQueen now has the option to use RC controls. The joystick on the left side of the app screen controls forward and reverse, and the joystick on the right moves you left and right. Check out settings to turn on RC Driving throughout the app.

App stuck during setup

App gets stuck during setup. Audio updates portion at 88%. Asks to connect to WiFi but nothing happens. This is the 2nd one I’m trying that has this issue and I’ve used two different iPhones (iPhone 7+ and iPhone X). Both updated to latest OS and App version. Tech support tried to help last time but none of their tips worked. It must be some bug in the app. Originally I thought it might be the car but no way now. Another brand new one with the same issue.

This is the 2nd lighting McQueen sent to me I’m using the latest OS and the audio keep getting stuck at 87 percent I spent a lot of money on this car I bought for my daughter.

But. After 2 hours finagling with it. Connecting to lighting3 WiFi was tough every 2 minutes for every % to update. After all that stress - works great! But. It should say to put in your OWN cars DVD’s to watch. It doesn’t play cars 1,2,3 by it self. It doesn’t say anywhere that dvds are needed.

I charged Lightning McQueen but suddenly it’s eyes shut off and all the lights are on. His app is stuck at 78% Audio update. Did I do something wrong

It's very awesome and fun but why the tilt controls it made it hard to control and play pls remove it or add and option to not have it.

So this is a review of the APP ... Not the toy itself. The toy is beautiful... and solid ... and the motions are perfect to the movie. The APP however is not great Game are fun 'Scripts' are fun But the actual driving ... of the actual car ... is poor. The faux joystick on the left is anything but intuitive. I get that you need to 'orient' behind the car since it can slip and move away... but it is NOT a regular sphero that needs to be aimed. Left on the joystick should make the wheels always turn left Right on the joystick should make the wheels always turn right. And why is forward both up AND down? Why not up = forward and down = back??? UI/UX folks: is it that hard? Do I really need to push a button to make it go in reverse? What is this ... a sewing machine??? Sphero: I expected more from you on the interface side.
