For auto users, this app now has full page pop-up ads that require you to visually engage with your phone to dismiss them. Lose these obtrusive (and, for drivers, dangerous) ads, and it’s a five-star app once again.

Have listened to this app and recommended it to several people over last few years. Satisfied with the banner ads at the top or bottom of the page. Unobtrusive. But last week it started using full screen ads which are very difficult to get rid of, meaning I have missed a news bulletin or the start of a play for instance. So annoyed with it that I have deleted it and will not use again.

This is A Godsend to me as an ex-pat living in DC I use this app on every device on every level of my home. Thank you it makes a huge difference to my life here. Music and the BBC stations are my lifesavers .

My mother’s family is in Ireland and the UK and I’m over there every few years. In between I feel happy listening to BBC radio streaming from UK Radios. The US is a dire place to be right now, UK Radio helps me feel like I’m in a better place for awhile.
