Great game! Needs asynchronous multiplayer

This game is well worth your time. I took a chance and I'm gad I did. However, even though it has online multiplayer I have yet to actually find a game. What this game really needs is asynchronous multiplayer online.

This is a surprisingly fun tactical game. I love the chess like feel, and it's really fun to learn how to use the different units. Well worth the money, can't wait to see what future updates bring. My only wish is for it to be on the iPhone too.

It bears some resemblance to the classic PC game Archon; but improved upon. Excellent game! I hope more playing pieces, card sets, and spells (or Runes) via IAP will follow along with the continued development of this superb game. Well worth the money.
Waited so long for a tactical chess-like fantasy game like this!!!

This game successfully pulls off the turn-based tactical chess-like gameplay of Hero Academy, but with good AI to play against and an awesome darker atmosphere, including the music. It is also like a much better version of Archon without the arcade battles. I have never purchased a game without a lot of good reviews before. I am really glad I took the chance. I really cannot believe this game is not more popular! Yes the price tag is stiff for a game like this but well worth it. Note: I am playing this on an iPad and think the screen of an iPhone would be too small to enjoy this magnificence game. I'm writing this review after losing for the first time on the third part of the first campaign. This game will cut down my MTG play.

The game could be great, but then you get the standard "get everyone secretly worshipping Satan" stuck into the game. If you don't think gaming is spiritual, ask the Mayans and the ancient Chinese. As a game maker, you can be cool without pentagrams and all of the evil motifs. If you can't, your muse is an evil spirit.

If you ever liked archon or battle chess for the NES then this game is for you. I'm hooked for this tactical strategy game. Would love a boardgame edition.
