This app has allowed me to learn different languages in different ways! You can use the translate the scanner and the text massages! The translate helps you talk and learn that language! With the scanner you take a picture of a sentence or a word that has a language you don't understand but when you take a picture and scan it, it will show you what text says in that different language you choose! The text massages help with...say if someone texts you a language you don't understand you press this like thing on your keyboard and it will show you what they say and you can actually write back in that same language they did! This app is so useful! It's useful but what I don't really like about it is that you have to pay money for some of the stuff, but overall it's worth it! Whatever language you want to learn they have it!

I found this app after another one (有道) temporarily disappeared from the app store - it came back after I downloaded U-Dictionary and subscribed for one year. My main use for this app is to translate camera/pictures from Chinese to English, which is a paid feature. This app is decent for that use in my opinion. iOS 15 now has that natively, built into the camera and Photos app, rendering this kind of app redundant to me. Honestly, I'd be willing to keep the subscription if it was something much, much cheaper - I'm talking USD 2-5 per year. At the current rate (USD 12.99 per month, or even "The Best Offer Ever" of 0.99/month for 6 months, then back to 12.99/month), this subscription (or any other in the same line) is a final "no, thank you" for me.
