Great app which takes me back to my childhood drawings. My kids love ÜberDoodle as well. Love how realistic this app is - if you draw on the table it seems to stay there! I am afraid what my mother will say!

very buggy. - sometimes straight lines appear - clumsy interface, especially for young kids - sometimes a circles are locked - very few options for the money - can't change the hole where the pen fits in or I'm doing something wrong save your money!

My friend was just mentioning wanting to get a spirograph set to recapture a bit of her childhood so I looked in the app store for an iPad spirograph app. This one is just great! design space is limited to circles for now, but clean and solid. I look forward to them adding more design elements.

My absolute favorite toy as a kiddo...now I'm letting my own kids in on the fun too. This is a flawless app, It is worth every penny and probably the one app you can get lost in for hours! I simply adore the fact that you can save the pics, now I can display my masterpieces ^_~ Thanks for the new pen and rulers! This makes a perfect app even cooler! Please keep the updates coming

Overall it works ok. However, there are a few niggles that need addressed. The first is the apparent requirement that you have at least one gear in place at a time, makes it frustrating when trying to swap between gears that you have to bring one in before the other becomes selectable. Not a big deal but kinda irritating. Then there's the lack of basic instructions, it's simple stuff sure, but it's not immediately apparent how to select specific holes in each interior gear. Also why not provide a simple interface to allow the user to specify the number of each teeth per gear and ring? Finally, one of the things I used to enjoy doing as a kid was to pin down an interior gear and run around it with another interior gear. It provides an additional set of design possibilities and the inanity to do so is a bummer. Overall a decent job, just wish developers would stop simply creating a digital doppleganger and actually leverage the fact that the iPad is a digital medium. There are so many possibilities in this format why aren't we taking it to a whole new level?

I stumbled across this while looking for something else and couldn't resist. What an incredible, modern adaptation of the Spirograph that we all loved as kids. Such attention to detail! I wish more app developers were as thorough. 5 stars for an amazing job with the interface.

This app is really well made and I highly recommend downloading it if you have fond memories of the Spirograph. The app has a lot of flexibility but is also intuitive to use. It feels like real! You can even draw on the table :) whoops. Size adjustment and variety of pens (including some multicolor ones) make for some really nice drawings.

I remember playing with Spirograph in the 70s. This app is a great alternative and a lot of fun. Plus with the ability to create your own wheel and ring sizes (number of teeth), it's interesting to see geometery in action - put a number 60 wheel in a 120 ring and you get a single loop no matter which hole you put the pen in. You can also shrink and stretch the rings - something you definitely can't do with the real thing - so you can make patterns in all sorts of sizes. They have a limited free version, but it was well worth the $1.99 I paid to get the full version. The only thing missing is a ruler shape with teeth on the outside, but it's still fun to play with just the regular rings.
