Overall works pretty well.

I would rate 3 1/2 stars if I could. Could be better, but could be worse. I should update this review with specifics.

Love TWiT Netcasts!

Edit 7/17/17: Having read reviewers stating that the update has broken control of Play and Pause via the iOS Control Panel, and that it plays the audio without stopping any other audio that was already playing,… I will not be downloading the update. Sometimes I don't need to see the TWiT video, just hear it, and I'd like to be able to switch to another silent app to work while I listen to TWiT. Control Panel is/was the only mechanism to restart the audio from the TWiT app, because for some reason it (your app) stops itself if you switch to another app while it's playing!!! Original review: While I love the content of Leo Laporte's net casts and podcasts, and having this app on my iPhone 5S makes it easier to access them then using a browser, there are some annoyances in the UI that I don't expect to find, considering the source. The app does not remember which type of night cast/podcast I looked at last (TWiT only, not any of the other shows). Similarly, it forgets the last show I was watching/listening to. This should be a durable State, so our user does not have to scroll through and select twitch from the list of shows, and then recently watched, and then tap the show I was in the middle of. Then, if I decided I wanted to start watching another TWiT show, that I had downloaded, it would be only one step to back out of the last show I was watching, to peruse my list of downloaded shows.

Version 11.8 no longer works reliably over Bluetooth.

Bsnaps00

This app cuts out frequently when playing over Bluetooth. It also does not override the current playing audio application. So you then have two music players running concurrently.

No longer recommended until they fix it.

Mister "(O)"

A recent update to this application made it to where it no longer is recognized as an audio source.thus the iPhone doesn't stop playing any of your other audio sources and the controls on your car radio will not control it or any other external Bluetooth devices as they do not see it as again a audio source

Lost audio control center functions.

Leo

Dusty Roadz

I started watching Leo perhaps his very first show and knew immediately he's a hit. I listen to his Podcast all the time while I work in my shop(self employed). I plan to setup a tv in my shop to add video. I listened through Stitcher and MyTune radio. And Roku in my house. Hey your getting GREY like me now!

The best TWIT App!

Please update!!!

Needs an update

Gus Glitz

After recent version updates of iOS, this app no longer handles audio correctly. It’s not recognized by the operating system as an audio player and causes many frustrations. Also needs to be updated for iPhone X. Hope updates are coming!

Reluctantly my favourite TWIT app

Tech_Bunny

Archive of shows works fine. I just wish you could select the quality of the LIVE video stream. It defaults to Auto, I’m sure. There are times when my bandwidth is inconsistent and I need a lower bandwidth stream. TWIT now only uses UStream for it’s video stream which in other apps is bandwidth selectable. The YouTube live stream is variable, so I now watch live there more than on this app.
