Not a bad app, but not nearly as good as the rest of this developer's stuff, like 100 pushups. This feels clunky, has inconsistent spelling etc. I bought this believing an update was indeed "imminent" - as claimed - but it's been months without an update, so either this dev just doesn't know what "imminent" means or doesn't tell the truth. It's disappointing because the other apps really are very good. Updated review: the app is now caught up with the rest of the developer's offerings. yes, it's essentially the same, but it's great. this update should address the majority of the earlier complaints.

Works for me

Not challenging

Rea428

I could do 16 dead hang pullups from the start...and went to the last workout(wk6-day3) and was easily able to finish the workout and able to more...i simply ask for more weeks/days.

Not good at all..

Like most other people said, there are no levels in this app. It doesn't really matter how many reps u are innitially doing, u still be on the same program. Than max reps checks every two weeks have no sense. I started with 7 and now I'm doing 12 and on the 4th week I should just choose that I'm doing more than 4. That's just stupid!!!

Please update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone who wants to workout

Used to be a great app, but the newest version is very buggy and keeps freezing then shutting down the app. I have gotten all the updates, but it just doesn't work!

Horrible

Simply doesn't work on the iPhone 4 .. Very crash happy...

Fix it!

Reading the definition of a chin up would be extremely confusing to a newbie. It defines a pull-up and then says "don't confuse a chinup for a pull-up which is what we just defined as a chinup". Also, the poor drawing makes it more confusing. I like the example for the 100pushups, can't you make it like that? The program needs to be more challenging - no matter what your max is, you always start doing 2,2,1,1,1. Lame.

20 chin ups

Way too ambitious. I started this program being able to do 10 chinups, and I can't get passed week 5.

Great app!

Now, I just bought this, but after using the other two apps that this company has made (100 pushups and 200 sit-ups), they've given great results, so I'd imagine this will, too! Great job, app developer!

Decent app

Worked ok for a while the time of rest is too long and no way to shorten it like the other progression apps like 100 pushups. Now it seems to crash when I go to today's workout. Needs a little more attention.
