Omg how can this be real?! Finally encoretvb has English version! I was using the cantonese version (the one w/ blue icon) but keep asking when English available. Dream came true! Thanks!! But wishing for more updated dramas...

I'm so excited I get to watch Cantonese shows again. It brings back lots of childhood memories. It would be nice if it had the ability to chrome-cast.

Overall, the look of the app is good. It’s a simple format that’s easy to use. I have no sound issues or problems watching episodes. However, some issues I have are: I’d like to know when ads will be played. For example, on other players there’s a red or yellow mark where there will be ads. It’d be nice to know ahead of time when ads are coming up. Also, another thing with ads: Sometimes the ads go on for a long time. One or two ads at a time is okay, but sometimes they just repeat for a long while, sometimes they let you skip long ads...and then sometimes there are simply no ads at all, which is pretty sweet! Also, on a few dramas the English subtitles are off or not timed correctly. I don’t need the subtitles usually, but I’d prefer having correct ones or ones that show up at the right time (example: Ghetto Justice has correct, but incorrectly timed subtitles.) For the player, I’d like an addition of fast-forwarding. Going back 10 seconds is nice, but being able to go forward without having to do it manually would be much more efficient. I don’t think the search option is very accurate. I feel like some dramas are on there but they don’t show up when I try to search it up. (Example: I tried searching Bet Hur. It’s on the app under “Kenneth Ma Collection.” But it doesn’t show up! Even searching up Charmaine Sheh or Kenneth Ma, the leading actors, doesn’t have Bet Hur show up.) I don’t want to feel like I’m missing a show when it’s actually available! Lastly, I’d love more dramas to be uploaded! I’ve got some older dramas (and new ones as well) in mind that I’d just love to see on here!! Some are on the Cantonese app, but still, the selection of shows is quite small here. Those are my issues. But a decent amount of dramas are available to watch and I appreciate having the app to use. Thank you!
