No Dish

Tv land has Dish as a “preview” instead of an actual Tv Provider. Meaning that if you have Dish you are not actually able to even use the app.

Wrote about below issues 1-2 years ago and still have not been addressed. The developers are clearly unskilled and their UX team isnt worth anything. Downgrading to 1 star (from 2) as most valid customer feedback remains unresolved by their so called App Support. If you click the button for full episodes it just starts playing the last full episode watched and you have to then minimize the episode just to get to the screen that shows the list of episodes for the show. It also plays episodes upside down after selecting the desired episode and going into full screen - and this is with the screen orientation lock enabled on the ipad. Piss poor design.

I use tv apps frequently with no problem - except this one. Love to watch King of Queens but it does not cast to chrome cast so we have to watch on our phone. Not ideal but we make it work. Also, only a few episodes are available at a time so if we have watched one a night, we may have watched them all before they update. For the past week or so, there has only been the same one episode of King of Queens. We miss our nightly KOQ. Please fix!! (And chrome cast option would be GREAT!) thank you!

Needs Chromecast! Super disappointing when I don’t have Apple TV and I have to watch my show on my small screen.

I love TV Land shows like Golden Girls, King of Queens and Everybody loves Raymond. But, this TV Land app doesn’t have the capability for “Live” streaming. Shows are only on Demand and after you watch all the shows on Demand, you have to wait until new shows are added. It just doesn’t make any sense!

This app is very frustrating. It frequently loses track of where you are in a show, especially after a commercial plays. Some of the commercials seem like someone paid to have their personal videos as advertisements. If you would like to airplay the shows to an Apple TV, forget it. After just a few minutes of airplay the app continually bounces between the show you are trying to watch and a commercial. We tried this on three different devices and two different Apple TVs. It’s pretty sad that this is the product that TVLand has given us.
How about an Apple TV native app?

While this app is good (sometimes it refuses to come back after an ad), it would be great if there was an app made specifically for Apple TV. I would watch much more if this was available.
