I am adult, why am I getting notifications for adult content? Some of it is completely benign and Tumblr’s filters are going overboard. It’s pretty ridiculous at this point and no real reason to use Tumblr.

I understand money has to be made but it’s gotten to the point where every fourth or fifth post is an ad. Overall though, everything works as intended. Wish I could view content from accounts deemed “sensitive content” but guess that’s in the past.

I can't even write a username that is up to standards and the app says " error" like fix your error please this is getting really annoying.

For months now the Tumblr app keeps crashing with every few scrolls. I’ve updated, deleted, reinstalled, turned my phone off. Nothing is fixing the crashing. I’m getting annoyed and it’s ruining my experience on the app.

This app is constantly crashing on me. I might be able to get ten minutes before it closes on me and I have o repeatedly go back in over and over. It also has limited features- you can’t view comments on a post without either crashing or it refusing to let you scroll, you can’t view reboots, etc. the website is better.

I used the app, until Apple once again made unreasonable "think of the children" demands, forcing Tumblr to ban tags within the app. This made using the app less safe, not more. Apple doesn't care; their demands make it look like they are doing something in the eyes of parents who want other people to take responsibility for safeguarding their kids. Tumblr's mobile site works perfectly fine on a browser. Apple will continue to wreck apps unless they are made irrelevant. So don't get this app. Use a browser instead.

1) When you click a tag on someone’s account and go through it, you can’t save the pictures in high quality by clicking on them. 2) Tags are more for followers/mutuals, putting them on public display is weird. There should just be an added filter like “reblogs with comment” with text in the body and “reblogs with tags” as another. But the toggle for allowing sensitive content was a good idea so thanks for that.

i love tumblr. there, i said it. i love it. i love how i don’t get a timeline like other apps, or how it doesn’t remind me of what i missed the last few days. i love seeing my mutuals and ignoring their posts so thsy don’t know i’m on, or liking without reblogging so my friend will text me about it when i haven’t heard from her in months. i love reading am entirely new post that takes half an hour, only to learn i reblogged it ten years ago. i love how much privacy i have on this site, not even with my url can my friends find me. a cryptid in real time, tumblr allows me to be. i can post a picture of my cat, a rant about my girlfriend, or a sob story about that one time i cried over the “don’t you love the color of the sky” post. it’s basic, it’s unchanged (except for all the banned stuff) and it’s perfect in a horrible way. i can’t escape and at this point i’m not sure if i want to.
