This app is very well made, in my experience the app loads high quality videos extraordinarily faster than the default YouTube app, this app doesn't have the option to play video from the background but that doesn't bother me, I use this because it's very fast. I believe it's because of Google/youtubes garbage license agreement, it's not the app creators fault that background play wasn't implemented. Five stars, best YouTube app. I haven't had any problems with ads either.

First off, for all the people who saying this app is terrible because you can’t play videos in background, the developer isn’t doing this to be mean to you. Thanks to youtube’s terms he had to remove the background play feature. What does this app still offer you ask? How about the ability to change speed, filter videos via categories or countries,, sorry if this isn’t enough to satisfy your uneducated soul so you blame everyone else. Have a good day!
The original Tubex is whole lot better...:(

I used Tubex becuz it let me choose the vid quality and listen to the vid as a BGM. But the new ver. doesn't have those features at all but has tons of ads.. Very dissappointing.

Does not play videos in the background, like the one review claims, just an fyi. Does not allow you to change video quality, which I was fond of in the old app. Does not let you go to channel profiles, which can be tedious. All of this the old app had :/ plus I don't want to sign in.
