Background audio feature doesn’t work

Cannot play YouTube videos as advertised in the background/screen lock, at least with iOS 12.3.1
No ads like it states...

...but it keeps pausing every 2 - 3 songs asking if I'm still listening. This is quite annoying. If this could be addressed, it would make this app perfect.

I love this app. I haven’t had a single issue and the ad blocker runs flawlessly. Although, today I cannot get it to open for the first time. It says “something went wrong try again.” Could this be a universal issue with Tube Browser since all my other apps are running ok? Should I uninstall and reinstall?

Used to work before downloading the latest iOS update. Now no longer works at all. Won’t even connect to YouTube much less play anything.

As of today November 9, 2019 the app no longer works. All it does is say “something went wrong, please try again.” When it worked, it was a great app.
