I foolishly bought the expensive premium $240+ IPhone 11 never worked right

Because it worked so well on my MSFT Win Phone, I foolishly bought the expensive premium "Gold" version $240+ for my IPhone 11 IOS 14.XX thru 15.xx -- It's never worked right. About 50-75% Reliable. which makes it useless. The Premium "Gold" version "Caller ID" for my outgoing calls doesn't work reliably either. It seemed like my number of Spam calls increased after I installed True caller. There has to be much

This app does a decent job and blocking unwanted callers. For that job, this app gets 5 stars. For SMS, the app creates new tags / Folders on your Messages app. The approach is fine, but…. There is zero control on flagging on how messages get sorted. Truecaller incorrectly flags SMS from Short Codes as spam. I missed a bunch of Covid alerts because Truecaller thought they were spam. With no ability to correct the misclassification in my messages app, this gets a 1 star from me.

All calls come through it blocks nothing. I spend more time adding numbers to true callers database than just blocking that number on phone itself. If I have block numbers manually— why do I need True Caller?

It works once in a while, but it is unable to update in the last three months, understand they trying to push people to purchase a subscription but that’s not really the way to do it
Ended up with more spam calls

On a normal day I get about 3 spam calls. The day before I downloaded this I got 8 spam calls, so I download this. The next day I get 12 spam calls, only 3 identified as spam. I was suspicious of giving this app my number but now I think it’s just made my spam problem worse. Update: I’ve done all the instructions that the app tells me to do to block calls. I block and report every single spam number but it’s like reporting into the void. After uninstalling the app and requesting my number to be removed from Truecaller, I’ve gone from 10 calls a day down to 4.
Why the hype

I research top rated call screener/block apps for iOS and in the week I have used this app, including the 3 day premium trial. It did not block a single call nor did it show a warning of a possible scam, spoofed call etc. it is unclear if I have to keep the app open all the time or not. I can confidently say that in my case it was useless

I just installed this today and I get a spam call. If you were asking for a monthly payment or a yearly payment and you cannot block all spam calls you do not need to be asking for money.

I’ve had too many calls, that weren’t spam or robo calls get blocked. From old friends that weren’t in my contacts. Not worth it.
