cannot save workout data any longer. fix it

Continues to Be Buggy

Claidhmore

Great treadmills, poor App! The App wouldn't work to save workouts for a long time. Then they finally updated it and it actually worked for a couple of months. It's now back to not working. It is unable to save a downloaded workout. Additionally, the Forgot Password function isn't working. Again, True makes great treadmills but they a slow to respond in fixing their App.

Needs fixing

Hasn't be n saving workouts for the last week. Needs to be updated ASAP!!!

Ap Is Broken

IamHoldenCaulfield

I am currently unable to log a workout with the current version of the app. I can manually enter and most times get the data from the elliptical to the app. Then I hit "Save" and nothing happens. How hard can it be to get and keep this simple app working?

Was great now it doesn't work

DieselATX

I used this app for a month and it worked great. Like all the other reviewers stated, it no longer works since the recent update. Now, this is not the first place I went to gripe. I wrote to them a week ago letting them know what the situation was. I never heard back from them which is a shame. I would've been satisfied hearing that they were working on the issue. No response so here I am. Maybe they'll respond now.

Working Great - Nice!

PLC1992!

Old version gave me fits - just downloaded new version and is doing what I need and saving my tread workouts. Seems much faster too now... In future maybe integrate with my other fitness apps!?

Maybe I'm/the app is missing something?

Pros: Was able to really easily save and log my workout. Cons: Can't seem to sync with Apple Health app or Apple Watch. (Feature request^ please?!) Also, besides for screenshot-ting and sending the pic to a friend, there doesn't seem to be an easy text message share feature either.

Why can't manufacturers understand what we really want is export to Strava, etc?

Dan Catlin

If you can export, it sure isn't obvious. Like proabaly a huge percentage of True users, I found them in a hotel gym. First impression - awesome! I can get a real upload of my workout rather than a manual entry to Strava. Well... download, forced to make an account, can't pair my HR monitor, not broadcasting on Bluetooth in a way that Strava's app (or Wahoo's or Garmin's) can see it as a sensor. FIne, we'll use TRUE. End of run, save, no problem. Do a little cross training on the elliptical, save that, too. Fine. Manually type in to Strava because no export. Dumb. Pretty sure this is for the delete bin. How much could they save by just putting a big orange button on their screen that says, "Connect to Strava." That would actually be customer pleasing for sure!

What even is this

real_dexbot

My apartment complex got some fancy new True Fitness machines. They're pretty slick. Good job there. But, I'm not reviewing the machines, I'm reviewing the app. The UI is lackluster at best if you have a plus model iPhone. It forces you to set up a training schedule, but has no way to be like me and my friends and say "I'll work out when I can" because school is busy and work takes time and some is better than none. At least you can toggle off ALL the notifications if you'd like. It also forces you to set a goal on at least one machine type. I, like many people, don't really have goals other than time when I go to the gym. I just want to go and record the results when I leave. That leads to the real reason for one star. Health. It's a popular app. It's been around since iOS 8 in 2014. Why can't this app (last updated in 2017) support it‽ The first version was made available in Apple has made it easy to integrate with HealthKit! I really only even installed the app with the expectation that I would sync data off the machine and put it into Health and update my  Watch's workout tracking. All the other reviews I've seen of this app say the same thing: no Health app integration. True, your customers have spoken. Add support for the Health app and Apple Watch.

Disappointment

Does neither connect equipment nor to Apple Health. - What's the point?
