Why can’t you search for a trip?

Mark Thornby

Inspiring pictures and great itineraries mean this should be a great travel app. However for some reason it’s been released and been updated without providing eve basic search functionality so unless you’re looking to randomly travel anywhere in the world it’s not that much use currently. Developers are apparently working on it so hopefully any day/week/month...

Almost There!!

I love the idea! It’s next level to be honest. I think you guys released it to early without having a search bar. That’s kind of premature to be honest. But one thing you guys are also missing is for us to have usernames. This will attract a lot of YouTube’s, IG users, and more. I have all my social networks under one name so it helps my brand. I will be kicking off major travels and videos next year. I have the camera, drone, action camera, stabilizer, and etc. So I post my video on YouTube but like always a book is better than a movie so I can have a in-depth journal like entry of what all happened. This will attract so many people and help my engagement with my followers and subscribers. It will make me transparent and almost a tangible friend. Love the idea guys. Would love to chat with you guys!!

Dump haha

No search. Love the app. 3000 sizable cities in the world and I have to scroll endless to find one in the 3 counties I'm visiting next month

Essential travel app that needs some fine tuning

Kvnwillems

Trips is a must if you want to make the most of your stay or if your are looking for your next trip. It gives you the chance to explore a destination beforehand and advices you what to visit. All this is done in clear and beautiful posts from people all over the world. The use of pictures in combination with the short pieces of text make it appealing and easy to read. The only remark I currently have is that the search function is not working very well. It is rather hard to find articles of a certain destination. I would like this to be fixed in order to enjoy this essential app even more.

Great app but needs pinch & zoom

Expeditionaryman

I love this app but it needs pinch and zoom support for photos. Add that and it’s a 5 star.

Great app!

Really liking this app. I haven’t been able to get off it for the past few days. I’m more of a photographer and don’t really blog, but this app makes it so easy to create things that I can’t help but document my adventures. Based on previous reviews it’s worked out all it’s kinks. Really curious to see if this app is available on other platforms to increase reach on articles.

Needs Improvement

Why can’t I login with my Lonely Planet account or email? I don’t want to sign in with Twitter, Facebook, or Google.

NO Search button

Huskyman350

I used the Lonely Planet book in China and it was phenomenal, 99% of the time it answered my questions, but the app wasn’t too helpful. I’m going on a trip to Quebec City with my girlfriend and I was hoping I could get an extra insight but it was useless for Quebec City. The interface was beautiful, but the search button is why I gave it three stars.

Required sign-in through one of three social services

Why? Why can’t you just sign up with email? Would be interesting if I didn’t have to create a new social account just to use the app but I’ll pass.

Looks good but...

I won’t sign in through another app.
