Your satisfaction is our #1 priority. If you ever need help or have a question, you can message us directly inside the app!

HOW IT WORKS
Create a list, then add items to it from the dedicated master items catalog or individually. All items are shown in categories making it easy to organize your packing.

REUSABLE LISTS
After you have finished your trip, you can save it for later use. When your next trip comes along, simply choose your past trip and all of the items and details are brought back for you again! Whether you travel twice a week or twice a year, you can depend on TripList to be there when you need your lists.

ITEMS CATALOG
The items catalog is where all of your commonly used items live. It is completely customizable, you can add/edit/delete any item inside of it. We provide an initial 250-300 items in the catalog to get you started.

SYNC & BACKUP
TripList is proud to include support iCloud sync for multiple devices. Create a list on your iPhone and a few moments later have it on your iPad or iPod touch. You can even backup and restore your app data with Dropbox, this ensure your data will be safe in the future, no matter what happens to your device.

DATA IMPORT / EXPORT
TripList includes support for importing and exporting both user lists and the items catalog in CSV format. You can easily create a trip on your computer using a spreadsheet program and send it over to TripList for easy importing. Your data is not "locked in" to TripList, you can quickly and easily export it in plaintext or CSV format to your computer.

TRIPIT INTEGRATION
TripIt is a popular travel itinerary tool used by business and leisure travelers around the world, and TripList can connect to it. TripList automatically checks your TripIt account for new trips and it asks whether you would like to create a new list for your trip.

- Reminders & Due Dates: Add notifications to trips and individual items to help you plan your trip better.

Very difficult to use UI
jdbellis

I appreciate the goal of the app and I admire that it is very full-featured but it has a pretty convoluted interface by any standard and is difficult to use to do what I want. Furthermore it is very buggy and makes the listing process take forever. With an interface overhaul this app could be a lot better.

Abandoned?
Craig2112

I like and use this app for all my trips. Lately, however, it’s been crashing and the sync system seems buggy. It doesn’t look like the developers have any interest in maintaining this app. Unfortunately there isn’t much else on the App Store that has the same features and functionality. I would gladly pay for San update if it looked like there was interest from the developers in adding new features and fixing existing bugs. Oh well.

New app

I just got this and will say I like the app so far. I like the preset lists and that I can add my own items.

Pretty good
Anuntakennickname1

I like this app, and took a little figuring out, but not too much. Will help keep my packing lists organized. I think it has room to grow with more categories and such, but, at least it allows you to customize and add whatever you want--so that is good.

Most Helpful Travel App
iApp4

This is one of most important and needed travel apps to own. It is an excellent way to inventory travel items.

Wonderful little app
Compguy 21

Absolutely love the app and the idea. Problem is that it's extraordinarily buggy and riddled with problems. Import crashes all the time, and sync is buggy at best. Design is well thought out though. Good job!

Update Ruined App
Geminierin

Loved this app, used it daily. Created several, extremely detailed list. Now (after the auto update) the app crashes before opening, every time! Unsure if I've lost everything as I can't even get it to open. Bad developers! Bad, bad developers!!!

All my list are GONE.
ScottAtlanta

It was working great for several months. Then they did an upgrade in October. Now all my list are gone. I had the data synced in the cloud so I thought that everything was backed up. WRONG. All list are gone from my devices. When I try to sync with the cloud it gives me a message that data is in the cloud, but fails to download. I tried emailing the support form provided by the developer but no response. Very frustrating to have wasted so much time making list and then have it all disappear.

Great Packing App! Simple to Use!
oneblessedguy

I have been using Packing Pro and I find it too hard to use. I know, I know. It can’t be that hard, right? Well, I found it too complex for what it is. However, this app is much simpler and the UI is very nice. Yes there are some small UI things they could do but overall, very pleasant. I would make a theme that made it more like iOS 8 for people that want that clean option. Functionality is great! It works well and it has the features I wanted. Sync works well, but I have had to force quit and restart for it to actuate occasionally. Love that you can have multiple people and it gives you the percentage packed for each person. Pretty sweet!! New Categories are easy to add along with adding items to them! You can also move items from one category to another very easily. Quick note: it could be easier to dismiss the category change screen. You have to figure out that a tap on the shaded area will dismiss the dialog. I think there should be a button or icon there to actuate that. You currently can’t create sub-items in the Catalog list view. You have to add it to your packing list before you can do that. This seems odd. I would like to be able to add iPad as an item and then as a sub-item, add charger, etc. So I had to create a Messenger Bag Category and then enter everything in it as an Item instead of adding an item of Messenger Bag with sub-items of iPad, keyboard, etc. This makes more sense to me, but I made it work. Which goes to say, this app is flexible enough to do what you want it to do. While it is also pleasing to use. I have not had any problems with syncing after the first time and part of that may have been my wifi in the coffee shop while I was experimenting with it. Lastly, before my suggestions, I am grateful for the import/export feature. I am able to export from Packing Pro and then import into Triplist. I have not completed this yet, because I want to see the layout of the csv file so I can make easy changes in Excel or Numbers. Exciting to try it out though! In many ways, this reminds me of the UI of Stow with the basic functionality of Packing Pro. Nice combo deal. Suggestions: 1) Subcategories are not easy to see. It would be nice if they would nest like the items do under the categories. So it would look function like this: Category>Item>Sub-Item. With expandable sub-items shown when tapping the Item line. Make an icon for pressing- would open the Item for the options menu. Or vice-versa. 2) Pull to Sync with an indicator if it is synced with the cloud. 3) Url schemes. It would make this a lot better as well. Launch Center Pro uses these. Who keeps a packing app on their home screen??? With url schemes you don't have to! Plus it would be easier to add something I forgot to add to my catalog. Please look into this! Hope this helps someone!

iCloud hasn't worked for months on iOS 8 Beta or release
LaceyAccount

The iCloud syncing feature hasn't worked for months and now the app won't even open with the iCloud setting turned on. For a paid "pro" app, this is extremely disappointing.
