Very clever, highly recommend

Full of surprises, right in line with the best puzzlers I played. I love that the levels are handcrafted. Plus it feels very tactile. Well done!

Awesome

Awesome game! It's much more challenging than it seemed. I love that the game board changes for each level

Great art style

The aesthetic is really nice. It’s not to faded but not too bright. I love the art style of the game. It’s Japanese looking with a retro QBert feel.

Maui

The setting of the game is unique. I like that it takes place in Maui. The whole Hawaii theeme is pretty Cool.

Great new approach

This game is challenging. But it is rewarding as well. The “cube” visual is a challenge in itself. I had to get use to how to match a “cube” within the pattern. After I became use to that approach I found the puzzle really fun. I don’t like the timed levels but I understand that can now be turned off. The random placing of cubes within the puzzle structure can be overwhelming but with a little luck and perseverance I can overcome them. I like the unique challenge of this game.

It keeps getting better!

Updated review: This is a really fun puzzle game that gets better as you go on. As more of the power ups start to kick in with the ability to clear some of the blocks from the board, the game gets a lot easier to play. The addition of the ability to turn off random blocks appearing on the board makes it even better. I could see playing the whole game once through without the random blocks and then again with the random blocks turned on for more of a challenge, so there’s definite replay value. The updates are really appreciated! _________________________ Original review: I keep trying, but I’m currently stuck on the 5th level of chapter one. It took quite a few tries to get through the previous two levels also. This is exactly the kind of game I like, and I don’t have any trouble playing seemingly more difficult games than this. When the level starts, the board is already pretty crowded with blocks that make it difficult to match anything, then as the level progresses, the random blocks popping onto the board just make it frustrating. That’s added to the fact that you most likely won’t get the blocks you need for the matches you’re trying to set up. I really wouldn’t want it to be too easy, but it seems like something is slightly off with the way this is planned out. Also (though this doesn’t have anything to do with the difficulty) whenever I drag a block to the trash can, it will just pop back where it started. It will usually take a few tries before it goes in. Sometimes that also happens when dragging a block onto the board. Anyway, I really like that the game has no ads or in-app purchases. I might delete and re-download it so I can start over and see if I missed something along the way… UPDATE: I did delete and start over. One thing that was different - I forgot that I’d turned off the hints. I usually don’t want hints in games because that makes it too easy. Now, re-playing this game with the hints I’m stuck on the 4th level of chapter one. LOL!

Relaxing & fun game!

4/4/18 update: Your recent updates to the game make a huge difference to me! Keep up the good work, dev. Mahalo nut loa! I’m really impressed with this game, and so stoked I stumbled across it! Imagine this might be my new “go to” game when I’ve got idle time. I like the simplicity of it, and yet its a smart game. I also appreciate that you didn’t pimp the island, which is what I feared. Rather, it’s a humble game, just as is the nature of the Hawaiian people. Really well done! Aloha! ❤️ After note: Oh no! I’m on level 4 prologue & I see the game is timed! This takes the relaxation out of it completely! And I can’t beat this in under a minute for my life! I wish the timer were optional...

More levels, please!

This is relaxing, but I finished all five levels...need more! And...I wish there were pictures of Maui along the way...that’s the only reason I downloaded it in the first place.

Good game

I don’t play a lot of games but I do enjoy doing a couple levels on this game when I’m bored.
