Pretty good app

The only thing I would add is double points for a Boston (getting all the tricks) and being able to pick an aviator or photo of yourself near your name?? Hey what happened to playing real people and not the computer....???

Best Whist Game App so far

This is a really good game - not perfect - put pretty close. Sometime the Computer Partner will drive you nuts holding on to a card you're looking for - But overall, it's a great attempt to realism

Great game better than spades. I was taught the game while I was stationed in Europe.

Outstanding!

Love this game. It has 2 modes that are ideal for player who sometimes wants less challenge and more practice. I'm a novice player who does not like the variations in the bid process but now that I have more opportunities to practice I will be more aggressive in a live game. I also like that in the practice mode you can shuffle through hands do you can experience a myriad of scenarios that will prepare you for more advance play.

Major Flaws with playing

I really liked this app until I was playing against the computer and IT KEPT 2 JOKERS IN A NO TRUMP HAND!! Somebody needs to fix this! All respect lost!

Partner Computer Screws Up Much Too Often

Would have given this game a solid rating except for excessive number of times my partner CPU has bid over the top of my successful bid --- then proceeded to lead us to getting set. This has happened three times in a row now (and too many times overall) that I put in bid that stood until my partner took me out. For example, I bid 3-High then he'll bid 4-Low. In my latest hand, I bid 4 Low and he out-bid me with a 4-No. And of course he didn't have the hand to hold a 4-No. in the earlier example, he didn't have enough to hold 4-Low. It's like my partner CPU is purposefully trying to get us beat. This is frustrating and leads me to feel like there should be a setting to suppress your partner CPU bids during practice. Until they fix and address this, my bid for this game is 1-Star.

Almost feels like a real game.

Been actively having fun in competitive bid whist. Fun, fun ya hoo. One complaint, the computer as a partner plays like an amateur and can cause one to get set, needs improved skills.

Aggressive

I'm a long time player. I never play a game where you can play a 3. That's for beginners. Players who really know how to play play AGGRESSIVE example. If I bid a 4 up you can not bid a 4 low. You would have to go 5 low. But a No can outbid anyone. It stops those baby bids I think you need to make the cards a little larger.

Great game

I have been looking for an online whist game that allows me to play with my friends who live a long distance from me. This is the game! I like that I can set the rules regarding bidding, scoring, and jokers.
