Horrible

TurtlesRuleTheWorld1

I hate it.

Excellent films, unsatisfactory app

Thathhgvv

It’s a great service. Five stars for the content. The current version of the app is not great. iOS 11 is very new as I review this. Maybe the next major update of the app will be better. I’m not sure the app matters much. Many of these films deserve a larger screen.

Disappointed

Jarajr0510

Doesn’t have a good selection of movies for what it cost.

Missing listed feature of Universal Search, TV App and limited selection

I would give it four stars if not for the missing Universal Search/TV App functionality - which is listed in its version history, plus listed on Apple’s Support Page has listing this app as having that functionality. A real bummer, as I love that feature. I am docking the other star just by way of the relatively small number of movies available. I do like the quality of the options, though. Hopefully, the TV App and Universal Search feature will be fixed soon. If so, I will revise my rating.

Pretty great!

The selection is usually very good and filled with movies not available on other streaming apps. The layout needs some work on the mobile side of things. It no longer shows when movies are departing the app. Also I would really like the titles to be filtered in and out more often.

Love the app but...

I love this app and it’s fairly inexpensive for some great, hard to find films. However the app can be unstable and once it starts working the video can take forever to load and then the quality is even bad. I know it’s not the internet because I checked that. Streaming speeds and quality needs to be fixed. Otherwise I love it for the content and idea behind it.

Great app with only one minor flaw

Xianmusicfan

Tribeca is a nice alternative to other streaming services. It’s inexpensive and has a variety of great options. I’ve not had any trouble with streaming as I have had with other apps. My only critique is that they changed their log in system so now to log in, I have to go to my email rather than just entering my info. Bit of a hassle.

Beginnings Trial with App / not without complications

Dawnsglows

I’ve only just begun using this and perhaps more because Apple took sales over it was difficult to get the app to work and accept my subscription. I had to repeat my subscription request with Apple ID over five times till it took. Some of the films I most wanted to view had vanished by the time I got it started, so that wasn’t the best start. It has closed captioning that I find helpful, but sometimes the captions are not synchronized with the voices so that is distracting. I’ll give this trial a month or more to decide, if this is as good as Netflix. I mention Netflix now because it newly linked to my iTunes account when it wasn’t linked before. Sadly I’ve noticed there are some new complications with Netflix now that I didn’t have when Netflix was kept separate from Apple and iTunes. The films are widely varied, more so than Netflix for such a small selection and that is quite good.

Good

KissMyBliss

I love the selection of movies and also for an awesome price. Many movies not available anywhere else. I haven’t watched a bad movie yet. My only issue is when I download movies to my iPad to watch offline, they won’t play. It says they are not available. I used to be able to watch the downloaded movie in the past, but no longer

Ehhh

Could’ve probably loved it but Xbox isn’t supported which is stupid cuz they have an app on the Xbox to download. They get that working I’ll probably come back.
