DISCOVER GREENWAYS
Provides a list of the closest greenways to your current location, and displays the routes for all greenways on the map. Information is provided for each greenway including description and estimated mileage.
Find the closest parking for each of the greenways and get directions using your maps app of choice.
Track your walks, runs, or cycling sessions and save the workouts to HealthKit when you're done.
As we approach our 5.0 release, we're setting the stage for a bunch of great new features in 2017.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

It's a good app but I wish it gave you a list of the greenways and directions to them not just when you are on one. Good app though!!

This app is a great concept but lacks the functionality it needs to be your "go to" app for Raleigh's greenways. It would have been awesome in 2001. It should have street routes to plot a safe course from greenway to greenway for connectivity. The distance tracker is off by miles. It doesn't link with Facebook. It doesn't link with twitter. The city just wasted another hundred thousand dollars and didn't bother to beta test it.

This would be much more useful if it included all regional trails such as Cary and the ATT. I use them all, so this app is nice but limited. Try partnering with your sister agencies?

One initial comment is that your color choices for roads, greenways and marker icons is not at all good for those color blind folks amongst us!!!

RGreenway doesn't recognize the newest trails yet, and the tracking needs a bit of work, but I don't go on the Greenway without it.

Overall, a useful app, but like others have mentioned, it would be more useful if it showed regional greenways. It also needs to be updated to show the newer trails (House Cree). Since the most recent update, I can no longer retrieve information about the trails. The drop down window that use to display the information is now blank.
