Good 1st Book! 2nd book: “Captive of Fortune” on Apple
DeeRocque

This is a great, fun read for fantasy genre fans! I had trouble finding the second book for my iPad because it’s called, “Captive of Fortune,” and that is DEFINITELY not the title linked at the end!! I’m a fan of these continuation stories where you keep your progress. The Samurai of Hyunga series is like that, and I’ve replayed the 3 books several times! I’m looking forward to this next book...

Enjoyable

As the first book of this series it leaves me intrigued and wanting for more! I'm excited to follow this journey no matter where it goes. Well written with the wonderful bonus of pictures and music.

Pretty entertaining!

Your character in this CYOA is a demon hunter (big surprise) who hunts down a demon that destroys his/her village. This is the first part of what will be a series and that being said I thought that it was a good introduction to the world and some of the characters in it. I enjoyed my character immensely and felt that he was powerful, but not overly so. I didn't feel that the puzzles were too hard. I loved the choices. What I didn't love was the music. It isn't that the music was not good, but it just didn't seem necessary at all. I loved the occasional graphics that would introduce characters. The game went pretty quickly but I will be buying the next one. Thanks!

Worth the wait

This interactive book is so excellent! I blasted through it in just a couple days and cannot wait to do so again.

Excellent story

I was a skeptic but decided to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed this story drew me in and left an impatient desire for the sequel.

Good game but to short
Eletric-ninja

This is a good game and this is coming from a 13 year old but the only thing I don't like about it is that it way to short it also needs some work done on

Alright, needs work

I have bought about every COG and Hosted game out there, and this one is up there with some of the best. However, during my playthroughs I did not at all feel like my character was truly my character, and in this way the whole experience was kinda detached. Kudos on the music and drawings, though.

Awesome

Never felt compelled to write a review before, but this app was just too good for me to not give it five stars. It's action packed fantasy at it's best with rpg elements to keep you hooked. Cannot wait for part two!

Boring and repetitive
27th biggest fan

It has good writing. That's pretty much it. Otherwise, the game isn't very good. It basically goes: pick weapons, fight with those weapons, pick more weapons, fight with those weapons, pick weapons, escape, the end for now. There isn't much of an actual story, just constant fighting. Choice of Broadsides has action, but it also has a really good story. Same with the Heroes Rise series. There just isn't much to this game. It's short, repetitive, and boring. If you like that, then by all means, go ahead and buy it. But I wouldn't recommend it. ?
