Waste of money you buy the app then you have to buy more and buy more there are free ones that offer more at no cost

More in app purchases are crap.

Great one!!

It contains lots of information and the design is really good. It interests me to read. I think this is worth to download.

I love it

Too many apps give only 1 picture but this gives a lot more. I right away bought the tree packs knowing it was worth about $6 and like to identify every tree. I find the regional thing other complain about unimportant in that many trees are not confined to certain areas and the trees characteristics more important. I wish there were more trees since it is slim on really being complete and hope for more and am willing to pay for their hard work.

In app purchases with no prices

App seems fine. Nice pictures, but missing range map. Rated it low because the in app purchases of additional trees doe not show the price. I'm not willing to hit buy on something without a price. App is useless without trees of my region.

Love the app

I love the app so much

This app has great potential. I like the interface a lot. But I don't want to buy an app for its potential. I'm always looking for good tree ID apps, and this one looked promising. But when I couldn't narrow down the range to my state or region, and when not even white pine was on the list, I was done. I will now delete this memory hog waste and of money.

Trees Pro or Not?

Contains more common trees; I bought the Tree Pak 1 which added about 105 trees, but excludes many trees in the US. We did a tree walk and found a tree with thorns along the branches. This app has nothing that would identify a Hawthorn, because it doesn't include Hawthorns. You have to have above a basic knowledge of trees in order to use the selection tools. The app provides a primer, but it will require study for the novice user, so it doesn't work out of the box for everyone. For the price, it's worth the investment if your just a casual user, but if you want or need details and easy selection parameters, this isn't going to be the right app. It leaves a lot to be desired. I wanted a field guide to trees, but there's nothing good on the App Store or in e-book format out there. This app is only fair in my opinion.

The only search function is by the name of the tree. If you are trying to ID a tree by leaf structure, bark, shape, etc, this is useless. Additional purchases of more trees info doesn't add value.
