Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s novel.
1827 – William Legrand, son of a fallen family, came to Sullivan Island, South Carolina, to flee the misery.
Wandering on the island, he discovers a rare bug, made of gold. He uses a piece of paper to take it. At night, he draws the bug on this same piece of paper, as he is explaining the adventure to his friend Edgar, standing in front of the fireplace.
As William takes back the paper, he realises that symbols appeared on it. It must be an invisible ink, revealed by the heat. From that moment, William thinks it is a Pirate’s document: Captain Kidd’s coded instructions to his hidden treasure… Help William find it!
A THRILLING ADVENTURE:
The bug discovery is only a start. Help William decipher the message left by Captain Kidd! Understand the meaning of the codes used in the message, find your way to the different places, and finally dig out the treasure trunk!
USEFUL HINTS:
Use the Hint: a shiny halo helps you to find one of the objects.
No more hints? Not enough time? Find the bonus stars hidden in the scenes to get more hints or time!

but am stuck on the map part (After you tap on Sullivan's Island, Atlantic Ocean, The Continent, East Sand, North Sand, My Cabin, & Beach, it’s a becomes a continuous loop, goes back to the dialogue, after quickly click on the dialogue, gives you same sequence as above. I re bought this app in (two offerings have this same bug, so I spent an additional 1.99 and an stuck at the same place. App Store doesn’t have good quality control. Even with brightness turned up, objects are difficult to see and touch selection doesn't always work. One of the poorest hidden object games available for iPad.
The objects are miniscule, even when using a hint I couldn't see what was circled. No helpful hints with the game areas and some objects had bizarre names and I didn't know what to look for, not likely I'd find it anyway. Don't waste your money.
It's a good story but there simply wasn't any effort put in to make it fun. The objects are often impossible to decipher little scribbles or smudges. At other times the objects are plain as day offering no challenge. Deciphering the code was tediously mindless. Following the path to the treasure made no sense at all. There are just too many really good HO adventure games available made by real game developers to spend your precious leisure time on this one.
I got stuck where you're suppose to follow the red north compass when your going through the forest!!!! But before that it is all good, right know I'm still stuck on that part!!! GRRRR!!!
Small hard to find items or really obvious ones. Like previous rater, I am stuck at the red compass. Not worth the money at this point.
I read the reviews but decided to take a chance anyway. This was a mistake...I will pay more attention to the reviews next time. There really needs to be a magnify glass to use all the time!
How is it possible that it's documented that this game has a glitch - stuck with the red compass and no where to go - and it hasn't been fixed yet?? Now I understand why this game was only $1.99 and the rest of their collection was $4.99. How about instead of stealing peoples money for a game they can't finish, you fix the effing game? You did no favors for anyone but yourselves by merely discounting the price of a sloppy game. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!
Love the game but it seems to be stuck on the wooded scene. Does not have arrows to follow the compass reading. Please fix, thanks.
