This application covers the ENTIRE Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus, train (‘L’) *AND* Metra rail. Utilizes data provided by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus and train tracker systems over your device’s WiFi or cellular network connection.

This app is not worth $0.99. Shuts down/ freezes unexpectedly, does not allow you to search for known stations (meta) and save that itinerary. Basically it's quick to find nearby stations/ bus stops, which you can easily do from your Maps application. Don't waste your time or money on this App. It's buggy and generally useless.

Unlike the old school Google maps that kept you from needing other apps this one does explain pretty clear & accurately the bus times which beats out any other apps I've used.

Terrible app, do not waste time

It got one star because IF and when it finally loads the app and location data it will give you an accurate schedule. Trouble is it takes so long to load that you will miss your train anyway. There is a watch app but it is less than useless: eternal loading. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!
