Transakt

Transakt provides two-factor authentication on your mobile phone, protecting you from phishing attacks and other online fraud by uniquely linking your mobile phone to your account (at a bank, for example). The app encrypts all communication between your device and your account provider (e.g. the bank). Multiple accounts from different providers may be added.

On installation, the app will request permission to use your mobile’s camera for scanning QR codes. To activate an account in Transakt, you will need to scan a QR code (or enter a sign-up code) given to you by the account provider. Each account provider has their own activation policy, over which Transakt has no control. Please contact the account provider directly should you experience any issues activating an account.

Whenever you wish to log in to an account, the app will provide a secure authentication channel between your mobile phone and your account provider using a unique digital certificate placed on your device by Transakt. With a simple tap, you verify your identity and log in securely.

Preface: I will write to the designer of the app after this review. But at the moment this is the review of the app as it is now. Can’t even register with my LastPass account. We code doesn’t work, manual entry doesn’t work. I tired all the typical close re-open. Nothing. Delete reinstall. Nothing. Did the same with my computer over and over. Hopefully there is an easy update fix or but I couldn’t get this to work.

The worst App I ever experienced. Just painfully unusable. Tens of thousands of dollars of sales this miserably designed product has made MASTERCARD miss. A real pity.

Doesn't even open, please fix it! It was so bad that I couldn't even generate a pass code for LastPass, I had to disable multifactor authentication

I use this app with LastPass and I didn't realize secure authentication could be so smooth! And if you read up on the technology it is amazingly safe and secure!

My only current wish is that I could "accept" or "decline" using iOS interactive notifications instead of having to leave lastpass, then accept, then finally return to the lastpass app.
