Trainyard is a puzzle solving game unlike any that you've ever played. It's easy to learn but very tough to master. Your job is simple: get each train to a goal station. Red trains go to red stations, blue trains go to blue stations, etc. You control the trains by drawing track for them to follow. There isn't a time limit or even a score; the only thing you need to do is figure out a solution for each puzzle.

The first few puzzles are almost too easy, but as the difficulty increases you'll be thankful that you were able to practice the fundamentals of drawing track. As the game progresses, you'll have to use colour theory to combine trains of different colours, use timing to merge and split trains, and use every inch of your brain in your quest to beat the game.

An iOS 11 update was promised forever ago. I’ll put my five star rating back when it finally comes. I paid for this app and enjoyed it on and off for many years. This is the only app out of maybe 15 that were broken by the iOS 11 update that I’ve kept on my device hoping for an update. Please update this as promised, thank you. Other than my social network type apps this is my favorite, I use it everyday. Was quite fun and challenging took me forever to beat!!!

We still are keeping an ancient iPad to play this outstanding logic game! My kids and I love it, we each take turns solving a level (multi-solution) then compare the best approach. Extra points for elegant simple solutions, least track pieces, maximum clever reuse, and unique solutions. Hope the developer can find some time to update/recompile for iOS 11/12! At any rate, thanks much for making such a useful and enjoyable tool/toy!
