In my personal experience, I have a few unfortunate issues. The golf course caching does not function well. If I lose my cell signal on the course, the app will not load the current hole details. I have also had issues with the gps tracking. The app will sometimes take a long time to track my location and delay my play. The swing tempo tracker has only worked once for me. I have to manually enter my shot details for every hole which takes my focus away from my next shot. In summary, I deeply regret purchasing a one year subscription as I can’t get a refund.

I suggest you try another Goal GPS app, there are lots of them - I Tried MANY times to download, create an account and even find a golf course … none of this worked. I also reached out to the developers support site 3 times w/screenshots and got absolutely no response. Requested a refund of my subscription from Apple! No ideas why this is so highly rated … very weird.

I use to be able to find course within a minute or so now taking five or ten minutes to find course. Score not saved. If you try to see scores on phone just spins with “Loading” nothing ever loads.

Golf logix is much better option This app takes forever to download courses - and doesn’t work w my watch- despite specs saying it does. Phone app works fine but no excuse for Watch app to be so cumbersome / not workable

After getting anew iPhone the app will not work on my phone or watch. All I get is an error 1 or internal server error. I cannot sign in or reset my password. I have sent feedback and received nothing back. Bad support. Update. App now works. They reported server problems over the holidays.

I love this app. The stand alone feature on the Apple Watch series 2 works great and it gives yardages instantly. Other apps have a delay that feels like forever when you’re on the course. The only thing that would really make this truly stand alone for me would be to add an arial the image of each hole. Don’t need it for my home course but would really be great to have when I’m on an unfamiliar course and I could keep my phone in my bag.

This app is great when it works. I really only use it on my apple watch. Some rounds it’ll work perfect and some rounds it won’t at all. But when you’re out on the course you don’t want to have to troubleshoot and play around with something... you just want to focus on the round. 4 stars when it works flawlessly but 2 stars overall because when it only works 50% of the time you are out it’s a waste of time and a headache.
