Trace is one of the most original, inventive iOS games I've ever played - and while it hasn't been updated since the days of iOS 3.1.3 (and what good days those were) it still runs adequately on newer iDevices and is still an undeniably amusing diversion from whatever else you do in life. I never had issues with the size of the controls; just keep in mind that the "Back" and "Retry" buttons must often be held down to be effective. As a side note a sequel to Trace, possibly with the ability to create and edit levels, would be excellent, however unlikely.

I like the game. But these are some Interesting reviews! People are complaining because it is challenging to play. But isn't that the point of a puzzle? I guess these are the same people that have difficulty with 2-piece puzzles.
