As students count the TouchPoints, they associate numerals with real values. They learn that a numeral (3, for instance) is not just a squiggle on a page. It represents a quantity such as three baseballs, three ladybugs, three starfish or three TouchPoints.

Wonderful introduction to Touch Math. Can't wait for the next chapter. Works smoothly and kids love it. Very little instruction needed, very kid friendly.
This app needs to stop making cute touch points and add actual math drills using the concepts in Touch Math. Until then this app is useless
Hopefully it will get better with time. It would be nice if you could practice the same number over without having to go to the next number, chapter 2 placing touchpoints.
Don't pay for chapter two it is a rip off. There is nothing beyond it available and your child only does the numbers again without assistance. Waste of 99 cents.
I've been using TouchMath for years because the unique multisensory approach is so appealing and helpful to my students who have a hard time with math. The way they learn to count using TouchPoints is just amazing. To see their faces light up because they "get it" is something I will always love seeing. The TouchMath method is really tailor made for an app so I was so happy to see this! We love it and use it all the time - it's a great introduction to the program. Can't wait for the TouchMath Addition app!
We have had this program on our iPad for our daughter for six months. She was two when we got it, and now at two-and-a-half, she still plays it. I am anxiously waiting for the addition app, as I think she is ready for it. Counting dots on the numbers will really make addition click for her, I think.
I love the TouchMath product it is easy to grasp for students, and a wonderful idea to help those that struggle with learning their math facts. The TouchMath app is wonderful to help reinforce the touch points and help students increase math skills.
