FizzBrain featured on CBS's "60 Minutes"!
Kids love learning to write - especially when they can use shaving cream, paint, and jello! "Touch and Write" was developed by real classroom teachers, and recreates the fun and effective teaching strategy used in classrooms every day: learning letters by writing with shaving cream, jello, finger paint, and more! "Touch and Write" uses a letter style similar to those most commonly taught in schools, so it prepares children for a real classroom. "Touch and Write" also allows you to create your own lists of names and words so that you can individualize the learning experience for your child! And it comes with 6 of its own word lists, including the most important words for young children to learn – high frequency sight words!

My grandson played this for hours. His favorite is writing with the pink frosting with its squishy sound effect. We also made a new word list with the names of our family. What a great idea!
Touch and Write has moved to the top of my list for learning to write. It's extremely fun for my 4 year-old with classic autism and the easiest app for me to customize! I have been telling everyone about it! We have added a list called "family" where he can practice his name as well as his siblings and of course, Mommy and Daddy. Brilliant!
It crashed my iPad 3. It just happened the day it was installed. Then, now it works well. Concept is good. My son likes it. Should add popping balloons for tracing, add more time to pop and eat the cakes.allow voice to be recorded for new words.
I'm an OT and can see using this app with the kids. Some things I would like to see: 1) be able to choose which letters and numbers to work on - instead of having to work on them sequentially, 2)be able to record words for custom word lists
I was able to get my son to practice number writing when he saw all the food. This was a really fun idea. I like that you are stopped if you try and trace the letters or numbers the wrong way. In the next update could you add an option to repeat a letter or number before moving on to the next one?
I am an OT and would like to see the letters stay longer in the middle before they move up. I use the background that has the writing lines and would like it if the child could see if they touched the lines or went over the lines when they finished the letter. Right now as soon as the letter is finished to moves to the top.
This app is cute and fun and I love the fact that you can add your own word lists. Both of my boys, 10 and 4, with ASD, are having so much fun practicing their writing. I think the shaving cream is their favorite.
I love this app and the creative way in which it teaches letter formation. I love the variety of "writing" materials that can be used. I also love how you can practice letters in lowercase, uppercase, and in words. I also appreciate how if you make an error in formation that the program makes you try that part of the letter again.
This is so cute! Using food to write is such a great idea and it is so appealing for my kids! They also love choosing the paper and the music, and they are crazy about the animal papers. We love the monster eating his cupcakes! New repeat button is really useful so my kids can repeat letters and words.
