Worked GREAT for two days and then an update kept flashing for ONE of the two units I had put on this app. Since that update for the ONE unit the app just didn’t work anymore. I’d go into the app to turn it on and I couldn’t even do that. Kept giving me the 4042 error code. What happened??? Worked great until the update.

Firstly the app runs smoothly with me, everything works how it should but there's one thing I feel should be fixed or even tweaked. When you turn the ac from a scheduled time or through the app, it automatically sets to Celsius, so if you don't know Celsius to Fahrenheit you have to go to the app to switch it every time. So other than that, the app is perfect..for me at least

Can’t get it to connect, and always says control fail, try again.... Frustrated with this already. Defeats the purpose on getting this unit with “WIFI”....

It’s bad in every way. Randomly stops working and says device offline until I restart my phone.

Terrible, return your AC if you can! Seriously, this app makes using the window AC (which functions fine) SUPER annoying to use. I use a mesh Wifi network with super strong signal and still half the commands error out. Super stupid app.
Don’t bother trying. Take your unit back and get something else

Toshiba app does not work, and after contacting customer support, they wasted another hour of my time. They couldn’t get me off the phone fast enough. Then they advised me to download another app called Midea Air which did not work either. They advised me this is something common that is occurring in their app and they haven’t yet fixed it. Both apps are just over a two rating a 2.0 rating and appear to be non-operative. Don’t bother calling Toshiba support because they don’t know what they’re doing either. Go buy a different product that works.
