This app is not user friendly and way too time consuming to use! You can’t just “clip all” coupons with one click like with the Wegman’s app. In order to use any coupons you must go through and tap each one individually! Who has time for that? Not me!

Tops has an app now so both wegmans and tops have apps. I like you can have your bonus card on there and the coupons they offer. Love it!

There is lousy cellphone reception at the Olean store. The signal will drop entirely in parts of the building, which means using any app becomes a scavenger hunt: where can I get more than one bar, where can I actually get 3G? These are things you need in order to have a functioning app. Sure, I can check gas points at home or elsewhere, but I'm sticking with pen and paper for my shopping list. In contrast, both Wegmans stores nearest to me (an hour away admittedly) have WiFi. I can look up anything at any time. This is another area where Tops needs to look at what other grocery stores are doing in western New York and western Pennsylvania. (Allowing gas points to continually accumulate, as another grocery chain does, being another one.)

I am unable to create an account with my BonusPlus number which I've had for years. Until that happens the app has been deleted.

I was excited about the app, but after only 1 use realized it needs some work. It needs a next/previous page at the bottom. Once you're done going through the page, you have to scroll to the top to continue. Also, there is no place to edit the amount you want. I wanted 2 of something, the number didn't take. Tried adding another, that didn't work either. Edit is for deleting an item only. While shopping I kept accidentally hitting the items which then were added to my shopping cart. Too easy for them to be moved. Forgot a few things I needed that were moved to the cart. Ended up closing the app & finished shopping without it 1/4 of the way through the store. Next time I will have my regular list & go by that. I do Love the recipe section though!

This app has a lot of nice features, but it needs Internet connection for it to work. Two things to make it better: a page change button at the bottom of the page so users don't have to scroll up to the top each time, and a way to download the shopping list for use when not online.

I like the idea of being able to create a grocery list but this needs work. With another grocery store's app, I can search all the products they carry and easily add them to my grocery list. I was hoping to be able to do the same with the Tops app. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. If the designer of the app could fix this, it would be a better, more user-friendly app.

If you have used the Wegman's app or the Publix app, you will be very disappointed with this one. They need a competent programmer to look at other stores apps and see what can be done. This Tops app is simple minded and has no ability to find products or tell you where to find them in the store. Even worse, they want YOU to say where they are in the store. I will probably just print my Wegman's list and refer to that at Tops. At least they can find most of the products and give me an idea of the current price. For now, I will not bother with Tops list.
