The way that the professor utilizes this app is definitely important. Since you can't receive notifications for due dates, your professor will hopefully be diligent about that. Other than that, I think this is a really nice tool for classrooms. It's interactive, and has some cool question types (heat maps, clicking on images, matching, etc) although some of them are either difficult to use or don't work because my professors struggled. What's cool is you can go back and forward in the slides your professor has up so if you're a slow writer you can still get all the notes. Overall, this is a really nice idea and needs a little work but I enjoyed having it in my class. Definitely could do with more organization in the content, it's a little overwhelming when all the slides are posted and you're trying to study.

Have missed a ton of questions in class because the app refuses to work without being updated. The updating makes me miss questions. Very frustrating.

Why am I paying money for a product that doesn't work? I'm pretty sure that's called false advertisement and it's an illegal practice. I paid for this stupid service as a struggling student and it doesn't even work. Before you take advantage of students that are already paying for books and tuition, make sure your product actually works!

The app has screwed me and school and is ruining my grades. It bugs out and messes up attendance and assignments. It's a terrible app and the customer service is somehow even worse.

I got penalized because top hat wasn't working during a lecture so I could answer a question and my professor assumed I wasn't participating in class.

Uh. Um. Anyway. Tophat is alright, penetrates my entire concept of chemistry. Uh.
