Great App! ??

Shiny Cool Star

This is a great app if you love creating comics and cartoons. What’s even more cool is that Toontastic has 3D settings and characters, and allows you to use a microphone to record characters’ voices instead of those annoying chat bubbles that take up space. Also you can move the characters around, which I think is also pretty cool. Just a few things about Toontastic: You can only have (I think) seven characters in one scene. Maybe bumping that number to 10 or something bigger would help people like me who like to put too many characters. Another thing: maybe add more settings and characters. I find myself a little bored after exploring what’s already there. One more thing: maybe put some props or extra sound effects to enhance the story. Overall, I think this is a great app. Our teachers in school are making us do a project with this app, so I downloaded it over the week so I could see how it worked. Sorry for the very long review. Well, like other reviewers said this isn't as great as the original Toontastic.In the old version you could make the custom characters move and you could have effects like weather and stuff.I know that because I played the old version back at my old school.In this new version they fixed some stuff(they made the custom characters and customized characters' names appear in the end credits, which didn't happen in the old version.)But I think you should add some new characters, new music and maybe some old characters and music from the original (only a few of them I could recognize because I remembered their names but the mermaid person looks different)and also add more animals like dogs and cats and some others ????????????????????.Also I want to make longer stories and the thing I am most curious about is whatever happened to the idea lab?!It was cool to see other people's creations on here so can you please bring it back?You can also put in new creations by other people as well as bringing back the old cartoons on there.Also 2 more things:1:please have more movie events and characters like what you did with Cars 3.And 2:Please add an option to upload your own creations on to the idea lab when you bring it back.That's all I want to say so bye and app creators I hope you listen to my suggestions then I will update my review and I will be happy sorry that this is so long but goodbye for now?

I really like this app! However I wish there was a way to change a characters facial expressions, so you could make them look angry, scared, sad, or surprised. Also, the character creator is a good idea but it is hard to draw, especially if ur a bad artist. If you could change the OTHER characters characteristics it would be easier.

I always am playing this game with my friends, and it's really funny but I wish they're were a few more characters both normal and crazy, then it would be really nice to have a scene that's just a normal house

Editing functionality needs work

In the previous version of Toontastic, one was able to make multiple edits of the visual content. For example, one could add and move additional characters while keeping previous work. 3D, from what I can determine, does not allow for this. My students find this extremely frustrating and for the first time have complained about using the APP. I hope future versions can bring this important feature back.

I Love this game, I like how you can make fun 3D movies. But there is a problem, everyone time I finish a scene... THIS. CRASHES. and if I'm working on my first scene... and it crashes... I.HAVE.TO.START.OVER.AGAIN. Please, fix this, and I will rate it 5 stars again!

Only 90s kids remember the original

The original Toontastic was amazing, no ads, a wide selection of characters and backgrounds with only a small group locked behind a paywall and a way to share your content with everyone. Try to be more like that.
